DisneyQuest - CyberSpace Mountain Prototype

CyberSpace Mountain is an innovative virtual reality rollercoaster ride at DisneyQuest in Florida. Visitors design a roller coaster using a touchscreen display. Guided by Bill Nye “the science guy,” they choose from a variety of environments, speeds, and track configurations. Visitors can then hop into the 360-degree real-time simulator for the ride of their life!

We designed the interaction and user interface for the touchscreen experience. Character designs were hand sketched and then 3D modeled in Softimage. A working prototype was created in Macromedia Director for demonstration and user evaluation.
